Accessibility Statement

CozyRelic is committed to making cozyrelicdrops.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to explore the Plague Doctor set and place a pre-order with ease.

1. Conformance standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is the standard referenced by US ADA case law and closely aligned with EN 301 549 for the European market.

2. What we have done

Accessibility is built into the site's code, not bolted on with a widget. Measures include:

A "Skip to content" link and clear HTML landmarks (navigation, main content and footer).
Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
Descriptive alternative text on all product images, and a real data table for the sizing chart.
Text and interface colours that meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios.
ARIA roles and states on custom controls (image gallery, language menu, accordions), with changes announced to screen readers.
Accessible forms with properly linked labels and clear, announced error messages.
Pop-ups, such as the cookie notice, that can be operated and dismissed with the keyboard and the Escape key.
Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting, and no media that plays automatically with sound.

3. A deliberate choice: no accessibility overlay

We do not use third-party "accessibility overlay" widgets. They do not fix the underlying code and are not a substitute for genuine accessibility. Every improvement is made directly in the site's source code.

4. Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We test the site with automated tools, with keyboard-only navigation and with a screen reader, and we re-check it after any change to the site.
